I told it to update and I got the usual "something went wrong" pop-up but. I just posted my above reply and when I went back to Galaxy - it had the pop-up saying it wanted to update.īut this time it said 2.0.48 (Beta) and also a hotfix 2.0.49! From 26/4/22 and 27/4/22 respectively. I just have to click the 'x' to get rid of it. Games installed this way can be added to GOG Galaxy: click the cogwheel in the top left, choose Add Games & Friends, then Scan Folders for GOG Games. If you use a drive other than the OS drive, simply change the drive letter to your desired drive. Then set the install folder to C:GOGGames and you will encounter no problems installing and launching your game titles. To get access you need to enable "Experimental features and updates" in the Galaxy settings. A tip for installing Galaxy to a folder Windows will not mess with, during Galaxy setup, install to C:GOGGalaxy.
